Hours & Admission

The Agricultural History Project is open EVERY second Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM for 2nd Saturday on the Farm (link to 2nd Saturday event page for more details)

Open daily by appointment by calling (831) 724-5898.

Admission is free but visitors are asked to help support the work of the Agriculture History Project (AHP) with a suggested donation of $5.00 per person.

Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and most major holidays.

AHP is located at the entrance to the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds (2601 East Lake Avenue) on state highway 152 four miles from Watsonville. It is in the heart of the bountiful Pajaro Valley, midway between Santa Cruz and Monterey.

We are located on California’s beautiful Monterey Bay, 100 miles south of San Francisco, 50 miles south of San Jose, 25 miles south of Santa Cruz and 25 miles north of Monterey.

Parking is always FREE and is located adjacent to the Agricultural History Project entrance.

Facilities are handicapped accessible.
